The Passing Away

Passing Away
From this Earthly abode
To an unknown place.
In a moment, stripping off...
All the human years of physical struggles,
Intertwined with the myriad mental wriggles,

Shedding decades

Of accumulated heavy weight:
Weight of the mortal body,
Weight of expectations,

Weight of acquired knowledge,

Weight of perceived notions,

Weight of beliefs and dogmas,
Weight of passionate aspirations,
Weight of filial responsibilities,
Weight of societal judgments;

Without having to:
Draw boundaries,
Take sides,
Making judgements,

Or Listen to words-

Comprehensible only by languages.

All that remains is the soul,

Swaying to find it's heavenly abode.
