With the shared love for mango, you and I devour on the mangoes everytime the house sees one. This leaves the dad bereft. It has been years since he ate a decent full mango, despite he buying them whenever he sees a sane mango :-P
Same goes for mangosteens. So, yesterday, when dad bought a bag of mangosteens, you and I decided to share them between the two of us. We counted, and saw that there were 15. I offered: "Here, I give you a big share - take 8, and I will take 7".
Without a thought he replied, "No amma! Lets each take 7 and give 1 to dad. Poor thing, we don't share mangoes also with him. It will be very mean if we don't share the extra mangosteen too"
So, ladies and gentlemen, we generously shared a mangosteen with the dad. We are generous. We are generous.
