Joey is in mama’s pouch
Idly observing its beautiful valley:
Their king standing a mighty defence,
Firing the conniving dingos as they stroll into the pack;
Magpies and Ravens for their security,
Relentlessly chasing the meandering Eagles;
Wagtails for pest control,
Pecking and snatching bugs in mid-air;
The glow-worms and fungi blooming with light,
As day breaks to dusk and moon arrives;
All mesmerised by the soothing calls of rainbow lorakeets.
Lovely life of pervading goodness,
Learning ways of life,
Unlike humans who learn from books:
Trigonometry and calculus,
Electromagnetism and field theory,
Physiology and Mendeley
Much useless to the actual way of life!
